FROM BOOKING TO DELIVERY, WHAT IT'S LIKE WORKING WITH US

Booking


After we find out more details about your big day, we’ll move forward with the booking process by sending you an online contract with a finalized proposal for you and your fiance to review and electronically sign.


We’ll then send you an online invoice for the booking retainer, which once paid, your date will be reserved. As your date gets closer, we’ll check in with you and your wedding planner periodically, and develop a tailored photography/videography timeline.

Travel



We are based in Columbus, Ohio, and Minneapolis, MN. Our destination weddings include early arrival and pre-production location scouting.


For most weddings requiring travel, travel fees will be included in our packages and we'll arrive 1-2 days early.

Cinematography


We've recently begun offering wedding cinematography to our photography clients who want a similar look across both photo and film, and who also want a photo/video team that works seamlessly with each other.


Our goal is to create a story-telling film that is told candidly through the eyes of a silent guest. Unlike other videography teams. We believe that the best and most authentic films are created by capturing all of the best moments of your wedding day and letting them unfold organically. 

Creative Process


We will work alongside your planner or coordinator to create a custom photography timeline for your day, and also make recommendations for the best photographic results possible.


We like to let moments unfold naturally and capture them as they are, in their most candid form. At times we will offer photographic insight such as the best locations for lighting, or we will offer to style certain scenes such as the wedding details e.g. dress, diracs, shoes, invitations, wedding rings.


Even during the bride and groom couples photos, we aim to make sessions fun and relaxed to produce photos that look natural and candid and not overly posed. 

Image Quantity


The final images in your online gallery will be a selection curated based on quality - the best photographs from each setup angle. Images with blinking, unfavorable expressions, or blur are removed. This will typically result in 40 images per hour of coverage.

Post Production (editing)


Your photographs are as important to us as they are to you, and as such, our editing includes immediate transferring of files and a secondary external backup of files.


Our post-production also includes exposure corrections, color corrections, and color grading on the entire collection. High-end skin retouching is included on select close-up photos. Black and white processing is included on select highlights.


Turnaround for engagement sessions is roughly 2 weeks while turnaround for wedding collections is roughly 4-6 weeks. Turnaround for wedding videos is roughly 12-16 weeks. Having this time allows us to provide unrushed post-processing and editing.

Packages and Terms


Coverage – For 4, 8, and 10 hour coverage, we can work with your timeline to ensure all of the important parts of the day will be photographed: prep, ceremony, group photos, bride and groom photos, reception, grand exit.


The amount of images you’ll receive is highly dependent on your unique wedding plans and event length, but we typically deliver over 40 photos per hour coverage.


All photos are edited and color graded to match our signature style.

Engagement Session


Our engagement sessions are untimed and unrushed, and typically run about 1 to 1.5 hours. We allow for 1 to 2 outfits, and 1 to 2 locations. You’ll receive roughly 20 fully edited images and an online gallery where you can view, share, and download the full-resolution files. Destination engagement sessions are also available!

Online Gallery and Downloads


A custom online gallery will be created to display your photographs and allow downloading of the full-resolution files. You can send the online gallery to friends and family, making it easy for you to share the photographs with loved ones.


You will also receive your wedding movie and trailer through a custom online link, where you will be able to share and watch on your phone, iPad, TV and easily download to your devices!

Full-Resolution Digital Files


All of our sessions and wedding collections include full-resolution, unwatermarked digital files. The photos are yours to post online, print, and share freely.


For clients who prefer professional printing options, you can purchase through the online gallery or we are partnered with Miller’s Professional Imaging to provide rich prints that are accurate in exposure, color, tone, and contrast.
